Expected salary range of $75,600 to $84,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

This position is responsible for administering the Risk Control processes for the wholesale and retail portfolios to ensure the adherence to established Risk Management policies and procedures. This role is vital to ensuring that all risks are properly identified, characterized, valued, and reported on a consistent and timely basis. The Risk Control Analyst is responsible for all trade validation and confirmation processes, the accurate modeling of all trades, development of independent forward price curves and the daily validation of the risk system to ensure proper credit and risk reporting.

PRIMARY DUTIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Responsible for gathering data and assisting in the development and maintenance of the risk management analytical model.

  • Responsible for supporting data gathering effort and generating risk reports

  • Develop an understanding of, and actively participate in, the development of Corporate hedging strategies, portfolio management, valuations, risk analysis and report preparation for Risk Management Committee, Senior Management and the Board of Directors.

  • Responsible for communicating with the business units and support data gathering effort of all risk information.

  • Participate in the development and implementation of risk policies and procedures.

  • Participate in the identification and assessment of the overall risks within the Corporation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Business required.

  • 3+ years of experience in a business related position.

  • Strong organizational and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong math and analytical skills with attention to detail.

  • Ability to develop spreadsheet applications and learn other specialized software products.

  • Demonstrated ability to work closely with peers in a teamwork environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with financial or energy markets preferred.
